Efficient Ginger Washing Process with Brush Washing Machine

Freshly harvested ginger is often covered with soil, small stones, and fibrous roots. Before slicing, drying, or packaging, thorough cleaning is essential. This application focuses on using a brush washing machine to efficiently clean the ginger surface without damaging the skin.

Processing Flow

Feeding → Brush Washing → Spray Rinsing → Impurity Separation → Output

Operating Steps

  1. Break large ginger clusters apart to expose crevices for better brushing.
  2. Start the brush washing machine before feeding the ginger to ensure smooth operation and prevent jamming.
  3. Feed ginger into the machine’s inlet.
  4. Activate the spray rinsing system to wash away dirt and loosened skin during brushing.
  5. Depending on processing needs, cleaning is typically completed within 2–5 minutes.

Optional Steps

  • For heavily soiled ginger, pre-soaking is recommended.
  • After brushing, a bubble washing machine can be used for secondary cleaning if needed.
