On October 30, 2025, a team of experts from the Institute of Agro-Products Processing Science and Technology, part of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), paid an official visit to the headquarters of IKE Group. The delegation was led by Dr. Bi Jinfeng, Chief Strategic Scientist at CAAS, accompanied by Dr. Chen Qinqin, Dr. Lü Jian, and Professor Yang Liyi of South China University of Technology, a well-known authority in fruit and vegetable processing technologies.

During the visit, Dr. Bi Jinfeng presented IKE Group with the official plaque naming it as a "National Key R&D Program-Fruit Processing Upgrading and Industrialization Project-Industrial Demonstration Enterprise."

Innovation Driving the Future of Food Drying

Since 2013, IKE Group has been committed to developing advanced drying technologies in partnership with the Planning and Design Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture. Together, they created the groundbreaking Closed-Loop Dehumidification Heat Pump Drying System-a solution that maintains stable temperature and humidity control independent of external environmental conditions.

Unlike traditional air-source dryers, IKE's system operates efficiently in both cold and humid climates, reducing energy usage by up to 90%.

At the same time, it helps retain natural aroma compounds and nutritional integrity, greatly improving the quality and value of dried agricultural products. This innovation represents a significant step toward smart and sustainable food processing worldwide.

Within just over a decade, IKE's closed-loop heat pump dryers have achieved impressive market growth, now generating over RMB 10 billion in annual sales. More than 100 dryer models have been developed to serve a wide range of capacities-from 100 kg to 100 tons per batch-meeting diverse industrial requirements.
